Rant #4: “Driving” Me Crazy

This week's Rant literally DROVE me crazy! Living in the city, I'm sure hundreds of you can relate. That's why I don't feel so bad presenting this topic as I believe I'm expressing points that most of us have thought of or still think about...maybe even worst. Check out my words and follow what I mean.

Blogisode #24: Façades

Most people are influenced by what they see on television or read in magazines, blurring the lines between reality and entertainment. We used to be able to tell the difference between the two, but society has changed that. Now we're being told that we're not good enough. Offering yourself to the system is the only way to succeed. I say I'm nobody's whore! And after you check out tonight's Blogisode, I hope you feel the same way.

Floetry Friday #6 – I Don’t Know

Back from vacation, Floetry Friday is back with another new poem, dedicated to all those who have questions about the ways of today's world. Questions pop in my head everyday and I'm no closer to finding the answers. This is what I feel when I get eluded by those answers and don't know where to search for them. Take some seconds to read this poem and see if you feel the same as I do.

Rant #3: O Hip-Hop, Where Art Thou?

Nas at one time said that hip-hop is dead. He couldn't have been more right. The real sound still exist, but not on the radio. On this week's Rantin' Thursday, I get in on the poorly, saturated sound of today's version of hip-hop music...at least that's what its being called today. (Personally, I call it something else.) Check it out and feel my Rant!

Rant #2: The Wackness of Music

Rantin' Thursday is back! Week 2 everybody, which means I'll be sharing with you a whole new topic to smash! This time, we're taking a journey of dissection into the world of music. As much of a lover I am of classic songs, I do love to play music that have meaning behind the melody. Unfortunately, today's music has too much of one and not enough of the other. Join me for tonight's rant is view my position on the subject.
